The Beloved Pet Ch13 “Meeting the Emperor”

With no guilt on my mind I set to reading books of a philosophical nature. With his considerable interests in terrans, it was no surprise that my Master had several copies of influential books from my home world. The works of Friedrich Nietzsche, Mark Twain, and many others were present in both English and the language of the Arc Empire. I figured this was a logical step up from an atlas of the galaxy.

The Beloved Pet Ch12 "The Letter"

My dear mother,

I am writing you this letter to allay your fears of my well being. It would be difficult to describe in writing where I am, but I am about 60 light years away from earth on a planet roughly the size of the earths moon with pleasant conditions, and I'm not alone. My company is quite pleasant as is the reading material. Due to the physical distance between us and red tape, I won't be able to write you for quite some time, which brings me to the next reason I'm writing this letter. The Beloved pet Ch11 “Guilt”

Some more time passed in the presence of my Master and I grew more attached to, not only master Entei, but also to the greater society in which he lived. The fact that he went out of his way to help my transition from the culture of earth to the culture of the Arc Empire added to this feeling. One of the ways he did this was showing that the translator in my collar translated text as well as speech. Without this, the written language of the Arc Empire, looked like an indecipherable combination of chinese characters and cyrillic letters in no particular order. I found what my master said to most unusual, that what I did next happened almost involuntarily. I shifted my robe slightly, revealing the boxer shorts that had been my only clothing while at the pet shop. While doing this I said, "Aren't you forgetting something master." Returning to conscious thought I found myself not believing what I had just done. The fact that I referred to Entei as master did not bother me, as I had done so for over a week. Current Projects - June 08

Right now I'm working on two projects which I hope to post soon.

The first is a science fiction short story in several parts about an alienated human who finds him self the pet of extraterestrial noble and the relationship that develops between the two as told from the perspective of the human. Once I have finished that work I have concidered telling the same story from the point of view of the humans keepers; But thats much further off.

The other is an essay on my personal experiances with religion within the frame of my journey from the black and white certantity of restorationist christianity to the lickable ambiguity of Lavey Satanism.

With both of these I am concidering posting scraps.

It is a reference to the first car I remember my parents owning. It was a 1987 Mazda 323 which they bought shortly after I was born.
